Was Oswald in the Doorway?

Much fuss has been made over the contention that alleged presidential assassin Lee HARVEY Oswald was standing on the front steps of the Texas School Book Depository at the time of  the ambush of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas' Dealey Plaza. New evidence discovered in 2019 suggests that case is still viable, though it is not without its difficulties.

The theory that Oswald is standing in the doorway of the TSBD is based largely on the writings of Ralph Cinque who painstakingly reviews the famed Altgens 6 photograph, observing that it has been heavily altered. He contends that a series of impositions have been made to obscure Oswald in favor of Billy Lovelady on the stairway landing. The reason for the photographic fraud is that otherwise, Oswald had an alibi for his whereabouts at 12:30p, the time of the president's murder by Mossad and CIA.

There is no doubt that HARVEY was the designated patsy - as he himself famously announced - but the introduction of claims of photographic fraud to rescue his innocence is not required. Whether or not Altgens captured Oswald or Billy Lovelady is not essential for Oswald's innocence.

We will present the most likely sequence of events which accounts for Oswald's movements during the noon hour, thus showing that he was no where near the 6th floor of the TSBD. We also show that his presence on the TSBD stairway is yet viable.

Oswald's whereabouts in the TSBD at the time of the assassination have always been a point of contention, in part because no solid contemporary evidence has survived documenting them. It is inconceivable that he was not asked precisely his location by his interrogators who conspicuously did not leave any written record of his location - for rather obvious reasons. After all, the Dallas Police Department needed a scapegoat for its commission of the heinous crime of murder and cover-up, a task compromised by recorded data exonerating Oswald.

In an interesting turn of fate, Malcolm Blunt found the notes which FBI co-conspirator James Hosty made during one of the many interrogations of Oswald. From an interview conducted by DPD homicide chief and co-conspirator Will Fritz on November 22 at 3:15p, Hosty made the following note as quoted by Jeremy Bojczuk,
O stated he was present for work at TBD on the morning of 11/22 and at noon went to lunch. He went to 2nd floor to get Coca Cola to eat with lunch and returned to 1st floor to eat lunch. Then went outside to watch P. [Presidential] Parade
Accepting the very contemporary and early notes as authentic and reliable, we can observe that the debate over Oswald's location during lunch time is practically resolved, and does no injury to the idea that Altgens 6 captured Oswald insofar as it is plausible.

To amplify the note based upon other known evidence, Oswald, at around noon, went to the second floor lunchroom to get a get a Coke, perhaps using the northeast corner stair case, after which he returned to the first floor lunchroom, also called the domino room, to eat lunch. Upon finishing, he walked to the front of the building where he watched the parade.

The clear implication is that Oswald finished lunch before the assassination. Therefore, it is possible that Oswald was on the western side of the stairway - ie on the left as one faces the building - though it is not entirely guaranteed. For as Bojczuk notes, of the several witnesses who testified about the people in the front of the TSBD, no one mentioned Oswald. As it turns out, this anomaly proves very little.

One could imagine a scenario where many of the parade watchers did not look back to take a roll call of people present. Also, one could imagine the possibility that not all office workers at TSBD who were interviewed knew the relatively new worker Oswald. Other permutations of these ideas are readily conceivable by an agile mind.

Bojczuk makes a strong case, however, that Oswald was on the first floor during the time leading up to the CIA-Mossad ambush of Kennedy. So even without the photograph, there is no reason to believe that Oswald was anywhere else, including the alleged assassination lair on the 6th floor.

According to Fritz' notes, which some maintain are derivative of Hosty's and FBI co-conspirator James Bookhout's notes, Oswald stated that he was "out front" with Bill Shelley who was his CIA handler. Thus we have additional confirmation that Oswald could have been caught by Altgens' camera.

This sequence of movements and positioning by Oswald provides the simplest and most reasonable schematic of his whereabouts. The many stories about an encounter with DPD officer and perjurer Marion Baker and encounters at the front of the building or in the 2d floor lunchroom or anywhere else are now seen as frauds of the perpetrators - and entirely moot to boot.

The reason for the Baker frauds was to remove Oswald from the front of the building where he was snapped by Altgens.

The case for Altgens photo fraud is heightened by the long lapse between the time his photos were taken and the time that they were broadcast nationally, first by CBS news anchor and co-conspirator Walter Cronkite on November 22 at 6:34p EST.

Larry Rivera documents that an exceptionally strong rivalry between United Press International and the Associated Press prompted each of them to deploy couriers to follow the motorcade to pickup finished rolls of film so that they could be rushed back to their respective offices for processing and distribution with as much celerity as possible. In one case he shows about an hour lapse between the time a photo was taken, and the time it was broadcast nationally.

However, in the case of Altgens 6 and 7, the time lapse is much larger - nearly 3 1/2 hours. Why such a long lag with such intense competition? A very reasonable explanation is that undesirable elements needed photowashing - such as Oswald in the doorway. Other explanations are possible, but no persuasive ones have been presented.

Writing with Rivera, veteran journalist and photography expert Roy Schaeffer confirmed that the image he received from AP at the Dayton Daily News was grossly doctored. Thus the lapse in publication for the most newsworthy event of the century is best explained by alteration due to Oswald's unwanted presence in the famed photograph.

Both the photographic and testimonial evidence converge to place Oswald on the first floor of the Texas School Book Depository at the time the president was murdered by Mossad-CIA. It is beyond a reasonable doubt that Lee HARVEY Oswald was not guilty of the charges made against him in murdering the president of the United States.
