The Origins of the So-called Warren Commission

The high school answer to the question about the origins of the so-called Warren Commission states that President Lyndon Johnson was its creator by Executive Order 11130. While the answer is not technically wrong, it is weak and naïve. The true creators of the commission were the murderers who needed an official vehicle for propagating their cover-up.

Donald Gibson plowed fertile fields when he produced his story about the etiology of the Warren Commission for his 1999 book The Kennedy Assassination Cover-up. Using then recently released documents, he pieced together the steps taken by the murderers to invoke the commission, which required heavy lobbying of Johnson to change his mind about such an investigative body.

Johnson initially objected, believe it or not, on the constitutional grounds that the murder occurred within the state of Texas within the city of Dallas and was therefore properly a local matter, although he could see his way to insert FBI assistance into those investigations.

Whether Johnson truly objected to a presidential commission is hard to know for certain because he knew full well that Kennedy was murdered by a high level cabal of which he was a part. The very fact that Johnson ducked before the first shot was fired in the Dealey Plaza ambush is sufficient proof of the vice president's foreknowledge of the murder, and consequently its managers.

Perhaps Johnson opposed the federal approach because he felt that he could control events easier in Texas than he could in Washington - especially in the face of an adversarial national press. He may have believed that the fewer constitutional violations he made would in the end minimize closer scrutiny of the final product. In any event he fell into line within a period of about 2 days.

In the official documents, Johnson is found stating his strong objection to a federal investigation on November 24 and 25, 1963. However forces were soon arrayed against him which persuaded him to empanel The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy on November 29, 1963.

The murderers were petrified of numerous concurrent investigations on account of the possibility of them uncovering some or all of the truth. With the glare of television cameras, the investigation could easily go into directions proving most uncomfortable for The Establishment murderers who ordered the assassination of the president and who were prepared to go to any lengths to protect their secrets.

In fact one of the smoking guns proving that there was a conspiracy to murder the president was the desperate attempts to quell such rumors. Memos from Assistant Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach references these fears - especially in his famous November 25 memo making it clear that the public must be convinced that Oswald alone murdered the president. Why must the public be so convinced 3 days after the murder? The police can rarely solve a bank robbery in as much time, so why should a murder of the head of state of the most powerful nation on earth be solved so quickly? The imperative is clearly the result of a cover-up.

The men involved in changing the president's mind were part of a closely knit cabal of establishment eminences whose names include Joseph Alsop, Eugene Rostow, Dean Acheson, Nicholas Katzenbach, J Edgar Hoover, Abe Fortas, Katherine Graham, Dean Rusk, Bill Moyers, Alfred Friendly, and Russell Wiggins.

Gibson identifies Rostow as the source of the idea of a presidential commission, but it is entirely possible that the idea came from Acheson. Either way, neither Katzenbach nor Johnson were the sources of the idea, with the president requiring substantial persuasion by Alsop to turn the corner in relenting to the commission. We suspect that much of this was theater, but as noted above, Johnson only objected in detail rather than in substance to the idea of a cover-up.

Hoover, for his part, was opposed to the idea because he felt that with too many chefs in the kitchen something would go awry. The FBI director felt that an FBI report given directly to the president would be sufficient to shut down the matter quickly by asserting that Oswald was the lone assassin. Given Johnson's and Hoover's close relationship, it is natural that Johnson would side with his partner in crime in preferring an FBI-only solution to the cover-up.

Acheson however made it clear - in so many words - to Johnson that the purpose of the presidential commission was to launder FBI information. The FBI would gather information, and the commission would use or ignore it as needed to produce the a priori conclusions.

At the end of the day, the commission consisted of a majority of reliable participants in the murder and its cover-up. Allen Dulles, John J McCloy, Gerald Ford, and Earl Warren were the reliable members who would guarantee the pre-fabricated outcome. Token opposition would come from Long and Boggs, while Cooper offered fake opposition. None of the dissent was included in the final report contrary to assurances otherwise.

For those dear readers wondering why we refer to the president's commission as the so-called Warren commission, our answer is that Warren had nothing to do with the creation of the commission or its operations. It was run by Dulles and McCloy who were acting for their crime bosses. Warren was simply an eminence front who was ordered to play along to stay alive.

While a few of the names we mentioned may have been compartmentally manipulated to participate in the call for a presidential committee to investigate the murder, we are certain that Rostow, Acheson, Katzenbach, and Alsop were part of the murder cabal. The others may have been part of the cover-up only, but further research is required to clarify their involvements in murdering the president.

Profiles in Murder: J Edgar Hoover

There are still many Americans who believe that J Edgar Hoover (1895-1972) was an exemplar of rectitude and solid American values who dedicated selflessly his life to fighting crime. These poor folks have been duped, conned, and deceived. Hoover was America’s First Criminal.

We have reported previously on the legal abuses Hoover used in his early years to wreak terror on his political enemies, so it should come as no surprise to learn that he was a criminal of the first order. One of his biographers – and we apologize for forgetting the name – documented Hoover’s tax evasions which he forced one of his accountants to conceal in false representations on his tax returns.

Hoover also regularly directed government employees on personal errands, including maintenance and improvements on his Washington, DC home.

If these were all of the violations of the law for which Hoover was guilty, we might overlook them in a drunken stupor. But his criminality runs deeper. Hoover had a very cozy relationship with organized crime which explains why he declared in the 1950s that it was not a major problem and that his agency should instead focus more attention on fighting the Red Menace. Indeed it was only after his death that the agency made any noteworthy attempt to break up organized crime, and even then it was probably only an internecine turf war.

Hoover is also well known for his innumerable illegal wire taps and files he maintained on politicians for political blackmail. His voyeurism is quite ironic given his nickname of Mrs Hoover. Perhaps not quite as flamboyant as RuPaul, Hoover had a lifelong love affair with Clyde Tolson, his number 2 man at the FBI – all while he kept a close watch on “sexual deviants.”

But Hoover’s crimes did not end with illegal wire taps. He was eyeball deep in the cover-up of the murder of John F Kennedy. He made remarks to lunch guests once, the son of a man named Byars, that he knew far more about the assassination than he could safely reveal, echoing Jack Ruby’s remarks to Dorothy Kilgallen that if Americans knew what he knew, they would recognize the end of democracy and self-government.

Hoover had many reasons to cover-up if not support the murder of Kennedy. He was living on borrowed time at his job and knew that Kennedy would not waive mandatory retirement if re-elected. He also hated Kennedy’s foreign policy, and other major aspects of his presidency, not the least of which was his boss, the 35 year old Robert Kennedy.

Douglas Horne recounts the story of Gordon Novel who stated that James Angleton, the counter-intelligence chief of the CIA, personally showed him a picture of Hoover and Tolson engaged in homosexual activities – and it wasn’t planning an Easter Parade. Angleton told Novel to use the information to keep Hoover on the reservation – whether by explicit or implicit means.

Finally, when one murder isn't enough, there is always another, this time Martin Luther King. As became evident at the 1999 civil trial against Lloyd Jowers by Coretta King, Hoover ordered the murder of King, using the CIA and US Army assassination squads to ensure the death of another "nigger," Hoover's favorite adjective or pronoun for black people.

Thus Hoover, who boisterously declared that no one would ever make him retire, became a willing participant in the plot to murder the president and to cover-up the crime with endless bales of lies. Hoover was a menace to America who supported its enemies, and covered for the most egregious murderers in American History. Murder is the Hoover legacy.

The US Government Murdered Dr Martin Luther King

Another voice has raised its witness in the assassination of Martin King, Jr. by the United States government. Dr. William Pepper, both a friend to the King family and the final legal counsel for James Ray, the man wrongfully accused of murdering the civil rights leader on April 4, 1968, has substantiated the story of James Douglass which we presented some two years ago.

Speaking to an audience at the New Hope Baptist Church in Seattle, WA on February 27, 2008, Pepper told a tale of evil at the highest levels of government which had assembled a task force to murder both Dr. King and Andrew Young.

Pepper begins his narrative by recounting how the government – and we would add parenthetically that the FBI spearheaded this operation with advisement of the CIA – infiltrated the civil rights movement in order to confuse its adherents and ultimately disrupt it. In one particular instance in 1967, Mayor Richard Daily of Chicago, in conjunction with the Department of Labor, used the Black Stone Rangers of the Windy City to impress attendees at a speaking engagement of King's at the Palmer House into a false black caucus to sow discord among the attendees.

The government, under the perpetually paranoid but mobster friendly Hoover, had identified blacks as highly amenable to Communist recruitment efforts in the wake of the Russian Revolution of 1917. The FBI began to systematically spy on prominent black leaders, with King being the prize fish.

In reminiscences of Oswald, Ray had been selected by the murders, particularly a man named Raoul, to be the patsy in the murder of King. Like Oswald, Ray was painted as a sociopathic lone nut who was racist, an expert with weapons, and a drifter. Like Oswald, Ray’s military shooting record was mediocre if not abysmal. But Ray was a much more vulnerable person than Oswald.

Rather than being a racist, Ray was a painfully shy man who socialized with his black co-workers.

More importantly, Ray was a docile person who readily signed up for low rent stick-up heists. When he planned them himself, they were of the utmost incompetence. For example, Ray would get to his robbery site after the timed safes were locked. He only carried 5 bullets for any revolver because he needed to keep one of the chambers empty because he shot himself in the foot previously when carrying a full load.

These failings of Ray’s made him an ideal tool for Raoul’s plots to murder King. Raoul worked alongside Frank Leberto who in turn worked the murder contract on King for Carlos Marcello, the New Orleans crime boss. New Orleans was a hotbed of CIA activity during the 1960s where staging and logistics activities for the murder of John Kennedy took place.

Leberto enlisted Lloyd Jowers in the assassination because his sandwich shop abutted a wooded area across from King’s room at the Lorraine Motel. Jowers was the bagman who ran the assassination rifle back to his shop for safekeeping. He took the rifle from a Memphis Police Department officer who worked with the mob through the mediation of the FBI or CIA.

Another witness heard Raoul at a grocery store yelling at someone on the phone to shoot him when he came out on the balcony, thinking that Raoul was speaking about the witness who was a prominent civil rights leader in Memphis.

Many claimed that Raoul was a figment of Ray’s imagination, but after a television trial broadcast in England, people came out of the wood work to corroborate much of Ray’s story. At the time of Pepper’s lecture, Raoul was still living about 40 minutes outside of New York City with government protection. Incidentally, the jurors in the trial, presided over by Hickman Ewing of Whitewater fame, found Ray not guilty of the murder of Martin King.

When Ray was arrested he was provided two crooked to compromised attorneys, the last one being Percy Forman who deceived his client into pleading guilty at the very last moment prior to trial. Forman would later admit that his client was innocent, but as a pawn in a larger power game was quite expendable.

When Jowers came forth to tell his story to Sam Donaldson, a complete news blackout followed the historic broadcast. Not even ABC News covered the story.

US government forces of many varieties swarmed throughout Memphis the day of the murder. In addition to military intelligence units, an Alpha 184 sniper unit was dispatched from Camp Shelby to murder King and Young. This unit coordinated with senior Memphis Police Department officers to ensure that the murder would go smoothly. The entire assassination was photographed by government employees.

Dr Pepper speculated that the sins of Dr King which found him in the crosshairs of a sniper’s scope were his opposition to the Viet Nam war and his agitation for social justice for the millions of poor not only in this country but throughout the world. We also noted previously that the immediate cause for King’s murder was Hoover’s complete agitation over the impending 500,000 man march on Washington, DC scheduled that spring.

The sophistication of the plot leaves only one organization as the ring leader – the CIA. Although the mob, FBI, US Army, Memphis Police Department, and other government agencies assisted in the crime and its cover-up, only the CIA had the organizational expertise to execute such a plan. As President Johnson remarked after leaving the White House, “We were running a Murder, Inc. down there.”

Why Did George Herbert Walker Bush Murder John F. Kennedy?

[Editor's Note 6/12/2021: While George Bush was important to ground operations in Dealey Plaza, he was by no means the brains behind the murder. As we have advanced in our understanding of the murder since publishing this Chronicle, it is very clear that far bigger powers were at work in the assassination of the president. We have recorded those Chronicles in more recent years which point the finger at Mossad and its financial backers.]

If you have been baffled by the byzantine maze of John F Kennedy assassination material which seems to lead to dead ends, we can point you to the tunnel leading to glorious light. Ocular Politics has produced a sensational documentary which builds a damning case against the 41st president as the murderer of Mr. Kennedy on November 22, 1963.

It is bad enough for many to think that the Warren Commission Report covered up a murder, but it must be even more incredulous to think that a former president murdered John F Kennedy. Yet that is what the evidence in the fascinating documentary JFK II: the Bush Connection demonstrates with superb insight.

James Douglas presented in his excellent book, JFK and the Unspeakable, Why He Died and Why It Matters, many policy issues with which the plutocrats took umbrage. However, he did not cover – at least to our recollection – the straw which broke the camel’s back. Ocular Politics fills in the details.

As a conclusion to the Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962, Kennedy promised Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev that he would dismantle various CIA operations and training camps from which sprung Operation 40, Operation Mongoose, Alpha 66 and other terrorist raids which had been executed against Cuba since 1960.

This action infuriated the CIA whose chief sponsors Averell Harriman, Prescott Bush, Alan Dulles, et. al. – all of whom were confirmed Nazis – had business interests in Cuba which they were desperately trying to recover in the wake of Castro’s takeover of the island.

Kennedy ordered FBI Director J Edgar Hoover to shut down the various training camps, including one at Lake Pontchartrain where Lee Oswald, working for the FBI, had visited the week before the FBI shut it down. Oswald, under FBI informant number S171, had been working for the FBI for 200 dollars per month following his return from the USSR under the fake defector program which was sponsored by the CIA.

This perceived betrayal by Oswald infuriated James Jesus Angleton, director of counter intelligence of the CIA, who reinforced his desire to murder Oswald, a desire first sparked by Oswald’s marriage to Maria, the daughter of a Soviet KGB Colonel. Angleton had feared that Oswald was a double agent and too dangerous to remain loose especially after he successfully infiltrated CIA training camps.

Realizing that Kennedy was following through with his promise to splinter the CIA into a 1000 pieces following the Bay of Pigs debacle, a threat reinvigorated by the raids against the CIA terrorist cells, the aforementioned Nazis activated the murder plans against the president.

George Bush was a senior officer in the CIA, admittedly operating under the cover of Zapata Oil, a CIA front ostensibly drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico 30 miles off Cuba’s north coast. As we reported elsewhere, Bush’s connection with the Firm had begun in the 1950s but the evidence from this documentary shows it to have begun in the 1940s after Bush left Yale, fertile recruiting grounds for the CIA. Notice that we did not say that Bush graduated from Yale. According to evidence amassed by Webster Tarpley in his Bush: the Unauthorized Biography, Bush left the university without meeting the graduation requirements – one reason why his records are locked up tighter than Barry Soetoro’s college records.

But the Yale connection is critically important because it is here where Bush joined the uber elite Skull & Bones fraternity which, contrary to its benign descriptions by out of the loop members, is a notorious concentration of wicked minds, which charge is given plausible deniability by the decent members who have been selected for the purpose of providing cover for the sinister ones.

But even Skull & Bones is a cover group for the elite plutocrats we mentioned above whose goal is to rule the world. The real plutocratic club represented by these Wall Street megalomaniacs requires intense loyalty and irrefutable demonstration of that confidence, even if it means murder of another man.

At least two memos from Hoover document Bush’s close association to the CIA in November of 1963 prior to and subsequent to the murder of Kennedy. The day following the murder, Bush flew from Dallas to Washington to meet with Hoover concerning the assassination. The producers of JFK II demonstrate that Bush and his compatriot were possibly armed with a needle gun capable of injecting a heart attack inducing toxin into its victim without leaving any evidence of assault other than a small pin prick.

The memo reported that Bush was the supervisor of the Misguided Cubans who were involved in the Cuban raids, but these Cubans, as we have reported elsewhere, were the same ones who pulled the trigger on the assault weapons aimed at the president. This connection links Bush directly with the assassins of the president.

It is thus doubtless – in our minds – that Bush supervised ground troops who rung the Dealy Plaza killing fields.

Bush flew to Washington to warn Hoover to stop messing with their operations or else he would be a dead man. Hoover could clearly perceive the seriousness of the threat from the murder of Hoover's prime agent Oswald. Previously Hoover seized Prescott Bush’s Nazi Union Bank in New York in 1942, and now he was meddling in CIA operations. Hoover responded deftly by creating the memo recording his conversations with a Mr. George Bush of the CIA.

But Ocular Politics does not stop there with the explanation of George Bush’s involvement in the plot to murder a man. They relate the cultures of the Skull & Bones and the plutocracy which require proof – an initiation rite – that George could be trusted to sit in on their business and machinations. That proof was cold blooded murder. With Bush implicated in the crime, he proved to his elders that he was worthy of the mantle of president, a gift given to him by the plutocratic elite.

We believe that Ocular Politics has produced the definitive guide to the Kennedy Assassination because, in addition to demolishing the Warren Commission Report, they provide the most compelling explanation of Kennedy’s murder.

The Paranoid Origins of the FBI

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seems to be the beneficiary of many coats of Teflon with even the criminal exposes of the 1970s and 1980s not leaving any enduring damage on its reputation. This is unfortunate since the agency was founded on absurd paranoid red menace fears which shift and shape to the present day to justify its ghastly growth.

Curt Gentry provides some early glimpses of the agency which became the FBI in his heavily researched book, J. Edgar Hoover – The Man and the Secrets. As a biography of Hoover (1895 – 1972), it also serves as a biography of the agency he headed for 48 years. Its excesses should serve as a warning to severely clip and limit its size and powers.

The Bureau of Investigation (BI) was established in 1919 as an agency of the Department of Justice as an outgrowth of World War I requirements although its seeds were planted earlier. During the war, the Justice Department partnered with the American Protective League to engage in mass dragnet raids attempting to round up spies and draft deserters. Although Hoover was a young attorney for the department, he learned these early tactics to apply them to his own operations in later years.

On June 2, 1919 a bomb exploded outside the home of Alexander Mitchell Palmer (1872 – 1936), the newly appointed Attorney General for Woodrow Wilson (1856 – 1924). The bomb did not harm the family or his famous neighbors on DuPont Circle, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. However, it caused quite a stir, especially for Mitchell who was determined to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

Mitchell had assembled a team of aggressive and close minded bigots to assist him in his war against crime and terror. Francis Garvan (1875 – 1937) was assistant attorney general in charge of prosecuting radicals whom he labeled along with other foreigners as “alien filth.” William Flynn was the assistant attorney general for the BI.

Following the dictum of Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s former chief of staff, to never waste a good crisis, Mitchell and his crew used the bombing episode to forestall the post war cuts which were affecting all government bureaucracies. On June 13, 1919 they attempted to persuade the House of Representatives for an emergency 500,000 dollars in additional funding. When this effort stalled, they approached the Senate, lobbying Senator Smoot of Utah and of Smoot-Hawley fame for the additional funds. Although he and his colleagues were not particularly receptive at first, Flynn declared on July 2, 1919, without a scintilla of evidence, that the bomb was the work of “Bolshevist and Hun money.”

The trio further claimed that they had reliable information that another imminent attack was planned for July 4, an attack which the BI could avert with sufficient funding. Flush with money gained under these false pretenses, the BI began planning for a massive round-up of radicals and communists in a 12 city sweep with the goal of deporting as many as possible.

Despite the money and effort spent on locating the perpetrators of the bombs, the bombing remained unsolved. Hoover was named head of the General Intelligence Division (GID) on August 1, 1919 and began working with Flynn and Garvan in targeting the Federation of the Union of Russian Workers, the American Communist Party, and the American Labor Communist Party. The Justice Department hysterically broadcast – particular to the Congress – that the nation was under imminent threat of a labor revolt headed by sickle wielding communists who had blanketed the nation like cock-roaches, which in turn required immediate and forceful action.

The facts of the matter were quite different regarding the size of the communist parties. The best estimates reveal that the party had 25,000 – 40,000 members, many of whom had been enrolled without their knowledge by various labor groups to which they belonged. When you distribute these numbers across the 12 cities which the BI targeted for its raids, you find that each of the large cities had an average of 2,000 – 3,000 members maximum.

The raids were scheduled purposefully for November 7, 1919, the two year anniversary of the Russian Revolution. They were excessively brutal and yielded no palpable results. Since the Department of Justice could not deport anyone, it had enlisted the Department of Labor under which the Department of Immigration operated to provide legal cover for its otherwise illegal operations.

The Department of Justice also worked feverishly to rescind Rule 22 which required that those aliens investigated for deportation be allowed legal representation. The Department of Immigration refused to rescind the rule, but Hoover declared that it did, proceeding to deport people without due process. Hoover would wield this terror on a large scale through his years as director of the FBI.

The main reason for rescinding the rule was that many victims retained legal counsel who advised their clients not to communicate with the BI on the grounds that it had absolutely no evidence against them.

The playbook is exactly the same today as with the fake War on Terror. George W. Bush claimed, without evidence or subsequently finding any, that Saddam Hussein harbored weapons of mass. The same lies are being spread about Iran to justify another war of aggression by the militaristic Obama administration.

The paranoia of these early World War I era BI men is the hallmark of a provincial troglodyte mind which the American people accept in its leaders. It is an embarrassment that a nation of so many people could not produce more enlightened minds. It is also proof that cream does not rise to the top. These men may have had higher than average IQs but they were clouded by the most venal and vicious bigotry and ignorance. Lust for power knows no limits or respect for Constitutional government.

Why Did the FBI Brief Mr. George Bush of the CIA?

A curious memo dated November 29, 1963 from J Edgar Hoover (1895 – 1972), long time FBI director, reports that he briefed a Mr. George Bush of the Central Intelligence Agency in the wake of the assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963. We have a few theories for this memo which we present below.

Mr. Hoover wrote that pursuant to the State Department informing the FBI that the former feared that some rogue anti-Castro groups may interpret the change in administrations as a signal to raid Cuba, he replied that the FBI had no information of such plans. He also stated that such information was furnished orally to George Bush and Captain William Edwards of the Defense Intelligence Agency, both of whom we believe were separately briefed.

Edwards claimed in 1991 that he recalled no such briefing but said that it was plausible that he received the briefing over the phone. He disavowed knowing who George Bush was. Our suspicion is that Edwards was not briefed and that he was named as a foil to give the allusion that the briefing of George Bush was a routine procedural matter.

Although the memo in question was hotly non-denied by Bush – or perhaps denial was only by his mouth pieces – research presented by Russ Baker in his book Family of Secrets shows that George Herbert Walker Bush is the only George Bush capable of matching the name in the memo.

The Bush camp suggested that the George Bush in question was another man with the same name, but further investigation revealed this to be a farce. The other George William Bush was a low level GS-5 night clerk of the CIA working at Langley CIA headquarters from September 1963 – February 1964 – so low and restricted that he was not permitted to speak on the telephone. George William Bush stated in court deposition that he did not receive a briefing at any time from the FBI while working for the CIA.

The only other George Bush fitting the description of George Bush of the CIA is none other than the former 41st president. We know that this match fits because Bush had been involved heavily for years in covert intelligence operations for the CIA under cover of his Zapata Oil venture, a venture without profits but nonetheless capable of maintaining a far-flung presence in the most unlikely of places looking for the ever elusive oil.

Before discussing some speculative theories, we should note that it is entirely possible that the memo should be taken at face value. But as far as we can ascertain, this memorandum was for file which means that it may have served some additional paper trail purposes.

It is also possible that, since George Bush’s Zapata Oil had special operations in the Caribbean, he may have been briefed on some aspect of the Cubans involved in the assassination. Or even better, Bush may have needed to reign in some of the Cuban groups for which he was responsible who were anxious to begin an assault on Cuba under the pretext that Castro was involved in the assassination.

There may have been contingency plans to use the assassination of the President - under the aegis of Operation Northwoods - to launch an invasion of Cuba which saner heads ruled out, and were now informing the CIA through Bush to call off the attack dogs.

So for what other reasons may have the CIA briefed Bush? We present two possibilities. The first is that the FBI provided information to Bush regarding the results of their investigations, making it a somewhat routine status report. We think that this explanation is plausible but it seems less than satisfactory. Why would the FBI give Bush a one-off briefing and make a point to document it? So far as we know, the FBI had no other interactions with Bush of this nature.

Even accepting the stated purpose of the memo, one would have to conclude that Bush held a much higher rank than previously thought, or was far more engaged in CIA operations than anyone had imagined. It seems strange that a cipher agent of the CIA would be sent for a routine briefing – although the occasion was anything but routine.

Our other explanation is that Bush actually performed the briefing, in contrast with the actual wording of the memo, in which he explained to Hoover that he was dealing with a CIA operation and should avoid looking too closely in another agency’s business.

One reason for this explanation is that the CIA had pursued the murder too aggressively and was producing evidence which contradicted the lone nut theory.

One point in support of the second theory is that this briefing occurred less than 1 week after the CIA murdered President Kennedy, meaning that the FBI displayed investigative tendencies which needed to be curbed – especially in light of the establishment of the Warren Commission on 11/27/1963.

If our theory is correct, he would have warned Hoover that Oswald was the lone nut and that he should not deviate from the official storyline. Bush’s presence in Dallas on the morning of 11/22/63 is also a mystery but we surmise that he was coordinating ground spooks and relaying in person sensitive information related to the assassination.

Bush’s association with the agency was so secretive and sensitive that it was nearly invisible until the late 1980s when this memo surfaced. We believe that George Bush was more intimately involved in the murder of the president than anyone has conceived, which explains the highly elaborate steps Bush took to establish plausible deniability about his presence in Dallas on the day the CIA murdered the president.

We know that advanced and veteran JFK murder researchers have long been aware of this memo, but we are delighted that Russ Baker has brought this to a larger audience.
