In a little remarked move, the Department of Homeland Security upgraded the Continuity of Government condition level from 3 to 2. This shift is replete with implications, indicating a very heightened sense of concern about the stability of the United States government.
The escalation in COG-CON levels has been rapid. After the 2020 election, the level was raised from 5 to 4. Some time after the inauguration on January 20, it was raised to level 3. Within the past few days it has been lifted yet again to level 2.
The significance of level 2 is loaded with import, representing a tangible and palpable threat to the United States government. Its key personnel are moved to secure domestic locations and in many cases are not allowed contact with family. We do not know the full implication of this escalation, but it will reverberate beyond government.
The occasions for the escalation are not known to us, but it is no doubt due in part to the absolute debacle in Afghanistan in which the Chinese Communist Party's Biden regime deliberately betrayed American soldiers in Afghanistan, handing the Taliban nearly 100 billion dollars in military equipment which the CIA will use against American interests and military locations around the world and in the US. The Taliban are coming back to America.
The other implication of the COG-CON level rise is the impacts it will have on the financial markets. This development is the canary in the coal mine or the fat lady clearing her throat. Any sign of instability in the US government will be felt quickly in the bond and capital markets. The stock market bull run is over and there is no amount of money in the digital printing press to keep stock prices afloat.
Other factors contributing to the elevation of the COG-CON level, in our opinion, include the massive supply shortages plaguing the US supply chain network. These disruptions, caused by the completely unnecessary lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 have dislocated businesses but also affect military preparedness and government operations - especially in technology sensitive armaments and vehicles which is nearly everything.
In addition to the massive digital attack from China and Democrat National Committee on November 3, 2020, George Soros has funded militants throughout the United States using front groups like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter. Many municipalities such as Minneapolis and Portland, OR have defunded police, leaving their cities open to these militants and to independent criminals.
There is considerable evidence that the corrupt governments in Arizona and Georgia will finally be compelled to release information and findings showing that each state conspired with the CCP to give the election to its hand selected regime. In such cases, the risk of public outrage and demonstrations is rather high.
The salient cause of the COG anxiety is the DNC whose leaders are taking orders directly from Beijing. Reports have circulated about Red Chinese troops operating in the northwest and Canada, reports which we have not corroborated. Nonetheless, the uncertain intelligence has certainly motivated DHS to take cautious measures to anticipate further breakdown of civil control.
Finally, the recent totalitarian stances of federal, state, and local governments to assault Americans with weaponized "vaccines" and mask dictates may be the real motive in escalating COG-CON level. Whether or not Biden is involved in this measure is unknown.
But the real problem with the "vaccines" is that they are murder weapons - designed to kill. Millions upon millions of Americans have died or are in the process of dying. As we revealed in previous Chronicles, the devastation caused by tens to hundreds of millions of deaths will bring governments and markets to their knees. The real economy will have to continue, but the financial markets with their quadrillions in derivatives will not fare so well.
Another wrinkle to the COG escalation must be rooted in the core question, who is running the country? Biden has frequently stated that he has been told to call on certain newsfakers, that he is not allowed to answer certain questions, or that he would get in trouble if he gave a specific answer. These are not the responses of the man in charge, or the buck stops here. Some have speculated that Kenyan born Barack Obama is running the government through Susan Rice.
One more level of escalation to COG-CON 1 would result in martial law and evacuation of major government centers. The effects on the stock and bond markets would be catastrophic - and even more so given the heavy indebtedness of the US. The World As We Know It is ending.
